If you’re keen to grow your own cutting garden then join me for a seed sowing workshop here at our smallholding and boutique flower farm in Thorganby. I’ll start you off on your cut flower journey, sowing a mix of hardy and half-hardy annuals, a gorgeous selection of cut and come again flowers which will flower this summer.
 
Come and join our small friendly group and learn the tips and techniques with plenty of tea and homemade cake. You can ask as many questions as you like and you’ll leave with the confidence to go home and start sowing. This is a hands-on experience and you’ll take away seed trays that you’ve sown, that will give you beautiful flowers to cut from your own garden this summer.
 
3 Hours: 10am to 1pm
 
I’ll supply an assortment of seeds including annual flowers, herbs and grasses as well as the seed trays and compost. I will guide you through the process of caring for your seedlings, pricking out, succession sowing and planting after the last frosts so you’ll be ready to grow your own cut flower garden.
